Unionville Festival Parade
Starting at Carlton & Main Street Unionville
Saturday, June 1st at 10 am
The Unionville Festival Parade is an annual tradition that signals the start of summer in Unionville. This year’s parade begins at 10am on Saturday, June 1st, starting at Main Street Unionville and Carlton, and heading toward Station Lane.
The festival began in 1969 when residents protested to protect historic Main Street Unionville from potential harm due to road widening. Their successful protest demonstrated the community’s commitment to preserving its heritage.
Since then, the Unionville Festival has become a vibrant celebration, attracting thousands to Main Street for a day of parade floats, music, and festivities. Join in on June 1st as the Unionville Festival kicks off the summer with a perfect blend of history, culture, and fun!
