Main Street Unionville Restoration
The Main Street Restoration project was an exciting initiative aimed at preserving the historic charm of Main Street Unionville while enhancing its functionality and accessibility for the future. The restoration included upgrading infrastructure, improving pedestrian pathways, and creating a more inviting and vibrant space for the community and visitors to enjoy.
We are thrilled to announce that the roadworks for the Main Street Unionville Restoration Project are now complete!
A huge thank you to our resilient residents and downtown business owners for your patience and support throughout the necessary closures and detours. Construction projects of this scale are never easy, but together we have reached the finish line.
We hope you enjoy spending time on your beautifully renewed Main Street. Celebrate the completion of this project with our Grand Opening Ceremony in the Spring of 2026.
What’s Next: There are a few final project details and minor restorations that we will continue to work on over the winter and spring. This includes removing the old lamp posts, switching the new lamp posts to the permanent power supply, and completing the works on Victoria Avenue and surrounding area.
